During my jewelry class, one of our assignments included making a bracelet with a focus on craftsmanship and simplicity. I’ve always been someone to put more energy into the design rather than the execution, so this piece challenged me to spend time filing, sanding and cleaning up my bracelet.
Moxtra, which makes mobile collaboration solutions, hired me to spice up a presentation for their Macworld convention. I took live action video and then using Adobe Sketch created hand drawn stills to represent customers for their presentation.

These sketches were created during the many hours I spend doodling on the weekends. Sketching has become a therapeutic practice for me, something that engages me while allowing my thoughts to wander. I truly love having a pen in my hand.
Using Adobe Sketch, I digitally drew this piece with an emphasis on varying my color choices and working with different shadows and tones. I look forward to improving my color technique in my upcoming Painting class.
One assignment during my Mixed Media class was a triptych project where we were required to create three different panels along a single theme. For this piece, I incorporated three different mediums: transfers, collage and drawing.
Last summer, I went to my first figure drawing class. Using charcoal, I drew the model during a 10 minute sketch.
